E-Invoicing Requirement in Effect Since January 1, 2025

As of January 1, 2025, the legal obligation for electronic invoicing (e-invoicing requirement) has come into effect in Germany. This applies to all companies issuing invoices to business customers (B2B). To comply with the legal requirements, you must be able to receive electronic invoices.

 

In most cases, a standard email inbox is sufficient to receive e-invoices. We support the widely used formats ZUGFeRD and XRechnung.
