The new chipping shares from GRANIT boast a high level of quality and durability. A special process is used during production in order to achieve high wear resistance. A hard coating is applied to the main wear zone on the top of the chipping share under inert gas. This mixture of carbon, silicon, manganese and chromium is characterised by excellent wear resistance, and reinforces the most heavily loaded areas.

When the chipping shares are manufactured, the base body is protected by a comparatively low heat input. This has the advantage that the steel does not lose its hardness. This process means that the coated GRANIT chipping shares are able to withstand the heavy loads experienced during tillage work over their entire service life, and they retain their shape in the long term and ensure a consistently good working pattern. The tools are also narrow which ensures the best possible cutting effect.
