When pressure testing cold/air conditioning systems with forming gas, it should be noted that hydrogen (H2) is combustible . Therefore, only use forming gas with 95% nitrogen (N2) & 5% hydrogen (H2). Depending on the manufacturer, pressure testing takes place between 5 bar and 30 bar (pressure reducers up to 20 bar and up to 40 bar). The leakage is sought with a leakage search spray.
