Fuses often pop out when starting up welding equipment, choppers, angle grinders, etc. This is because of the high start-up currents that are present for a short period but achieve a multiple of the nominal machine power. The start-up current attenuation limits the starting current to a value which does not cause the fuse to be released. Note: the start-up current attenuation does not work when several devices are connected at the same time. Areas of application: angle grinders, high-pressure cleaners, welding equipment, circular saws, shredders and similar devices with inductive components.
