Tank Control
For precise quantity measurements in tanks
Function:
Magnetic field-dependent sensors are installed in a stainless steel tube. A float with permanent magnets switches one of the sensors according to the filling level. The stainless steel tube is mounted vertically in the centre of the drum. Drum contents are assigned to each filling level by means of a one-time calibration. This allows the contents to be determined even with irregular container shapes. Over 40 field spraying drums are already preinstalled. The desired drum chart is activated easily via the keypad. Unknown drums (e.g. when retrofitting) can be calibrated easily with the help of a water meter. We offer the TANK-Control in 5 lengths: measuring height up to 1200, 1440, 1600, 1840 and 2000 mm. The control panel shown is mounted near the filling point. The drum contents are displayed continuously. There is a connection for the UNI-Control, LBS-Control and ACT on-board computers. The filling process can be completed automatically with a ball valve after reaching the selected quantity. During work, the drum contents, plus the area and distance to be processed with it is displayed in the driver's cab.
Advantages:
• Precise drum contents display: measurement error below 3% of the measured value, largely independent of the field sprayer tile, no measurement error as a result of density and viscosity differences (UAN), no measurement error as a result of air intake, no measurement error over multiple fillings
• The residual quantity in the drum is taken into account when filling
• Automatic shut-off by the above on-board computers when the selected drum level is reached. Two sub-quantities e.g. water and liquid fertiliser can be automatically filled using a setting on the on-board computer
• The drum cannot overflow because the actual contents are measured continuously
• Automatic transfer of the drum contents to the on-board computers. Display of the residual quantity, plus the area and distance to be processed with it. When an adjustable minimum quantity is reached a warning tone sounds
• Savings: low residual quantities, no incorrect quantities, a residual quantity is taken into account when filling again, exact application of the spray liquid is thereby ensured
