Battery testers

The BAT 131 is a portable battery tester for cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles. It can be operated with one hand, has a large LCD display and multilingual menu. It is suitable for testing according to CCA, DIN, JIS, EN, SAE, IEC and EN2 standards.

The tester is designed for 6 V and 12 V starter batteries (lead-acid, EFB, gel, non-woven and AGM). An optional current clamp can be used to test 12 V and 24 V starting/charging systems. This allows for more comprehensive testing and improved test results.

Technical data:

The T13 battery tester works on 12V and 24V systems and can perform four tests:

Battery test: Analyses the battery condition using a microprocessor-controlled test method (12V battery)
Body earth: Analyses the condition of the electrical return circuit (12V system only)
Starter test: Checks the battery starting power to predict when the battery will fail to start a vehicle (12V/24V system)
Alternator test: This test checks the condition of the alternator by testing it under various loads and performing a diode ripple test (12V/24V system).
