In throttle check valves the compressed air has free passage in one flow direction. In the reverse direction, however, the flow can be adjusted by an adjustable spindle, until complete closure is achieved. This means that the speed of the piston movement can be accurately adjusted.
Type A: supply air throttled from P - A for single-acting cylinders
Type B: exhaust air throttled from A - P for double-acting cylinders
L-DRVP-AL - precision check valve
Precision throttle check valve - block with female thread
Application: can be used for both single-acting and double-acting cylinders.
Function: the air is throttled in one direction, i.e. the flow is regulated via the adjusting spindle, while the air is able to escape unhindered in the opposite direction via the check valve.
Installation: note the symbol and the direction of the arrow in the valve block.
