Aluminium welding wire

The weld metal is resistant to seawater. Preheat thicker sheets to 150°C. Welding AlMg alloys with the addition of zirconium increases resistance to hot cracking. The welding area must be thoroughly cleaned shortly before welding begins; the weld flanks should be bright metallic.
