Low-strength threadlocker. Easy disassembly. Suitable for all threaded connections made of metal.
LOCTITE® 222 is a low-strength threadlocker which allows screws (including countersunk screws and set screws) to be adjusted. Ideal for use on metals that could break during disassembly, e.g. aluminium or brass. The product is suitable for all metals, including passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and galvanised surfaces. Proven tolerance to minor contamination by industrial oils, e.g. engine, corrosion protection and cutting oils.
Technical data:
• Ideal as a low-strength threadlocker for adjusting screws, countersunk screws and set screws
• Prevents loosening as a result of vibration, for example on pumps, gears or presses
• Connections can be disassembled with hand tools
• Particularly suitable for small threads
